Men's trail shoes Inov-8 Trail Talon 290
The Inov-8 TRAILTALON 290 men's trail shoe is the most comfortable, cushioned, and versatile shoe in this collection.
The seamless and breathable upper is stretched over a wide Strandard last, covered with TPU film around the entire circumference and significantly reinforced with a rubber toe cap with an extended toe of the sole. Due to the combination of different upper designs and the use of materials of varying strength, durability, and flexibility, individual models may differ in their final fit, even if they are made on the same last. That is why we are now specifying the width of all models with a numerical parameter from 1 to 5 (1 = narrowest, 5 = widest). We classify this model in the S4 group. The external thermoplastic "cage" to which the lacing is attached holds the shoe securely and stably on the instep, while the Gusset tongue construction prevents dirt from entering the shoe. The heel section features loops for attaching ALL TERRAIN GAITER ankle gaiters.
The powerflow+ midsole consists of two parts, the lower part is slightly harder, has excellent shape memory, and provides very good dynamics. The upper part of the midsole is slightly softer, offering comfort for long runs. Between these layers is a DFB polymer reinforcement that copies the shape of the plantar fascia and affects the torsional stability of the shoe. The midsole parameters are 19/11 (heel to toe).
The outsole is made of three different rubber composites, with the heel section being the hardest, the perimeter section having medium hardness, and the inner section offering a softer compound for good friction contact. A total of 46 differently shaped studs distributed across the surface are 4 mm high, andthe "claws"of the outer studs increase contact properties on packed snow or slightly muddy terrain.
Use: 50% trail, 50% road. An excellent volume shoe for running long distances in various trail environments.
Heel/toe difference: 8 mm
