- special beeswax-based surface ensures natural non-stick properties, which improve with use (this is not a non-stick pan)
- Suitable for all types of hobs, including induction
- Can be used in the oven for 10 minutes at 200°C
- Excellent heat conductivity, can be used at very high temperatures
- Made in France
- BEFORE FIRST USE, CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SEAR THE IRON PAN AND HOW TO CARE FOR IT... COMPLAINTS CAUSED BY IMPROPER USE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
- The pans are made of raw iron, which, due to the fact that they are handmade, may have aesthetic imperfections on the surface of the product. However, these do not affect the functionality of the pan. On the contrary, thanks to its natural properties, the pan has better non-stick properties
- 5 points of care to maintain the warranty:
1. Unpack the pan from its original packaging and wash it with a sponge under hot running water, remove the wax from the outside of the pan so that the hob does not get dirty, then dry the pan.
2. Turn the hotplate on to maximum power (use a lower temperature for induction) and place the pan on it. Pour approx. 1-2 mm of oil into the pan and let it heat up until the oil starts to smoke = the seasoning is complete
(During seasoning, rotate the pan so that the oil also reaches the inner sides; the pan will start to darken in places on the bottom).
3. Allow the pan to cool and wipe off the remaining oil with a napkin or cloth. Do not wash it so that the protective film remains and rust is prevented. The pan is now ready for use.
4. Store in a dry place. Remember to always keep the entire surface of the pan oiled.
5. Use detergents only in exceptional cases and NEVER put the pan in the dishwasher!
The gradual darkening of the pan is natural and ensures better non-stick properties. Any rust that may form can be removed with the rough side of a sponge and then oiled. This is not a reason to complain about the pan.
