BEFORE FIRST USE, CAREFULLY READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO SEAR THE IRON SKILLET AND HOW TO CARE FOR IT... COMPLAINTS CAUSED BY IMPROPER USE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED!
- The pans/roasting pans are made of raw iron, which, due to the fact that they are handmade, may have aesthetic imperfections on the surface of the product. However, these do not affect the functionality of the pan. On the contrary, thanks to its natural properties, the pan hasbetter non-stick properties. This is not a pan with a non-stick surface!!!

5 care points to maintain the warranty:
1. Unpack the pan/baking dish from its original packaging and wash it with a sponge under hot running water, removing the beeswax from the entire pan so that the hob does not get dirty, then dry the pan/baking dish.
2. Burning in on the stove: turn the stove to medium heat and place the pan on it. Pour about 1-2 mm of oil into the pan and let it heat up until the oil starts to smoke = the burning in is complete (rotate the pan during the burning in process so that the oil also gets on the inner sides, the pan will start to darken in places).
Seasoning in the oven: (only for pans/baking dishes with stainless steel handles) Preheat the oven to 245 °C. Use a paper towel to coat the entire inside and outside of the pan with a thin layer of oil. place the pan upside down in the preheated oven and bake for 1 hour (the pan should darken significantly), turn off the oven and allow the pan to cool for a while before removing it (it will be extremely hot!!), you can repeat this process 1-3 times and then the pan is ready for use or storage
3. Allow the pan/baking dish to cool and wipe off the remaining oil with a napkin or cloth. Do not wash it, so that the protective film remains and rust is prevented. The pan is now ready for use or storage. When using the pan, do not use maximum heat, as this could warp the bottom.
4. Store in a dry place. Remember to always oil the entire surface of the pan/roasting pan (the pan is not chemically treated and could start to rust).
5. Use detergents only in exceptional cases; hot water and a sponge are usually sufficient for washing. NEVER put the pan in the dishwasher!!! After each wash, the pan must be dried and oiled immediately.
The gradual darkening of the pan is natural and ensures better non-stick properties. Any rust that may form can be removed with the rough side of a sponge and then oiled; it is not a reason to complain about the pan.
